I draw to bring people closer to nature.

My work exists to respect and praise wildlife, to acknowledge the lives animals live independently of us.

Working purely in graphite and charcoal allows the focus to rest on form, structure, and movement, rather than colour or surface beauty. By removing what is immediately “pretty,” I enjoy considering the animal itself: its presence, its anatomy, and its lived reality.

These drawings are intended to evoke a sense of compassion, respect, and to encourage a quieter, more thoughtful way of seeing the natural world.
